Why a Filipina?
If you are like many men in the West you are most likely divorced and may already know how bleak the dating scene is for anyone approaching 40 and above.
You are probably disillusioned with most of the Western women you encounter and do not find them very attractive with most being over weight.
The attitude of many of these Western women is also a big turn off. They are indoctrinated with Feminist ideas and any problems or resentment in their life seems to be focused towards men.
Is it any wonder I recently read this comment on a Philippine Relationships message board:
“Last March I finally had had enough with American women. I had resolved to live the rest of my live as a monk. Then during some Internet searching, mostly Adult sites, I stumbled upon an international dating web site that featured Filipino women. It was not long after that, that I was hooked! I think Filipino girls are more open, more loving, and just better all around females. They are nothing like spoiled and independent and stuck up western women.”
More and more men are discovering Filipina women and getting a new lease on life. Here is another comment from the same site:
“I love Filipina girls simply because they love me back and it doesn't have to be that complicated. Their silky hair and slinky curves makes them superior to white hamburger eaters and their natural fragrance is perfume as opposed to anchovies. They are physically smaller (which I prefer) and more succulent. Another key factor is that there are more to choose from (or higher availability) which converts to a higher quality selection. But mostly I find their adoring attitude far more attractive than the underlying feminist attitude of 'I'm just the same as you'. Romance is so sexy and the Filipinas live for it.”
The Filipina has what we would now describe as Old Fashion values. They are very Family focused and put family first. In the Philippines there is no divorce so their expectation in marriage is that it is forever and they want to make it work. Its also important that they make the marriage work in the eyes of the family and community otherwise they will feel they have failed.
Another thing about Filipinas that surprises many Western men is that many actively seeking an older man. There are many reasons for this but most relate to looking for stability and commitment in marriage as described above.
Many men married to a Filipina comment on their loving and caring attitude. Perhaps that just a cultural trait but a Filipina wife sees caring for her husband and family as her primary role. This contrasts so many women from the West that seem to be only concerned with themselves.
